Hi, I’m Darren.

I am a kirtan artist, sound healer, intuitive reader, spiritual guide, Reiki Master Teacher, meditation teacher, author, and retreat leader who has guided thousands of people on a path of healing, self-discovery, and spiritual awakening.

At the heart of my work is a desire to help people remember that they are not alone. I create spaces where people can reconnect with their inner wisdom, experience greater peace, and deepen their connection with themselves, one another, and the divine.

  • I've taken both Reiki Level One and Two with Darren Marc of Awaken with Darren. The setting is peaceful. Darren is a knowledgeable teacher with a commitment to the tradition of the Usui Ryoho lineage. This is the second time that I have been attuned (I have been attuned to all three levels of Reiki previously in Canada) and I found Darren's teaching approach superb. He takes care in answering questions, giving examples, and offers a practical time to practice during class time. Darren also creates an environment that is safe and supportive. The lunches that were included were a bonus. I highly recommend Darren!

  • I had received reiki from someone in town and then felt it was in my calling to get reiki certified. Darren was the first one who was readily available. It was meant to be for sure. He is so calm, at peace and just what I needed. When he attuned me so I could receive the gift of letting reiki energy flow through me, I wasn’t sure hat to expect but after he had given me this gift, I literally felt the energy and light flow through the crown of my head and through my body filling me up and back out again. It was crazy. I started crying right away when he was done and went outside to lay down underneath the trees and grabbed some stones to ground me. I felt like I was in a fiery forrest and magical in a way. I feel so blessed to have been given this gift of giving and receiving energy from Darren and life itself.   • I usually talk too much, but here I am, at a loss for words! I knew today was going to be very special, and lead me to where I needed to be. And although, it was obvious from peoples’ comments, that everyone else understood “meditation”, none of that mattered. What mattered was that we were all together and there was so much love and healing generated.
